Welcome to Soroptimist International of Redlands, CA

Empowering Women and Girls in Redlands and Around the World

Soroptimist International of Redlands is a women’s service club that has been making a difference in the Redlands community for 60 years.

If you are a business or professional woman in the Redlands area, we invite you to learn more about how you can help us make a difference while making lifelong friends.

Most of the work we do involves raising money and investing it in the community in the following ways:

  • The Women’s Opportunity Awards program for mothers who need to pursue additional education to improve their career options learn more
  • The Violet Richardson awards program for high school girls who work for the betterment of the community learn more
  • Contributions to numerous charities, such as Redlands Boys & Girls Club, Redlands Family Service Association, Redlands Day Nursery, Y Alliance Legal Aid Clinic of the East Valley, Garden of Angels and the Redlands Community Music Association
  • Scholarships for students at local schools

Our Impact

Our Women's Opportunity Awards help women who are pursuing educational goals so they can create a better life for themselves and the family they support.

A recent recipient had this to say:

I am currently working on my classes to transfer to a university to pursue a bachelor's degree in sociology.

One of my goals is to work as a child advocate under the Child Protective Services or any agency who feels as strongly as I do to see that children live in a safe and healthy environment.

This scholarship ... will help me through [my] future financial crunch ... I can only respond with a heartfelt thank you."
